This Payment Policy applies to all orders placed on the Strutt’s official website. It explains our accepted payment methods, installment options, payment security, currency, billing information requirements, and chargeback/dispute handling. Special terms apply to deposit and balance payments and pre-order items that are not shipped immediately.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods, subject to availability at checkout:
- Credit and debit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
- Digital wallets (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, where available).
- Local or third-party payment methods depending on your country or region.
- Installment / Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services, where available.
2. Deposit & Balance Payment Structure (Pre-Orders)
Some orders are offered on a deposit and balance payment basis and are not shipped immediately.
- Securing your order confirms your position in the production and delivery queue.
- The remaining balance will be payable at a later stage, prior to shipment.
- Your order will be considered secured once the relevant conditions are met.
- Deposits are fully refundable before the order is secured.
- Once the order is secured, the deposit becomes non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
3. Installments / Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
- Installment plans and BNPL services are provided by third-party providers.
- Approval, installment terms, repayment schedules, fees (if any), and eligibility are determined solely by the BNPL provider.
- We do not guarantee that all customers will qualify for installment payments.
- Once an installment transaction is approved and completed, the order is treated as paid.
- Refunds (full or partial) will be processed in accordance with the rules of the relevant BNPL provider.
4. Payment Security
- All payments are processed through industry-standard, compliant payment service providers.
- We do not store complete card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment credentials.
- Additional verification measures such as 3D Secure, one-time passwords (OTP), or other authentication methods may be applied to reduce fraud risk.
5. Currency & Pricing
- All prices and payable amounts are charged in the currency displayed at checkout.
- If your payment method involves currency conversion, exchange rates and conversion fees are determined by your card issuer or payment provider, not by us.
6. Billing Information Accuracy
- You are responsible for ensuring that all billing information provided at checkout is accurate, complete, and truthful.
- Orders may be delayed, suspended, or canceled if billing details cannot be verified.
- You shall be responsible for any payment failure, delay, or additional charges arising from incorrect billing information.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
- If you have questions or concerns about a transaction, we encourage you to contact our customer service team first so we can assist you directly.
- If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated through your bank or payment provider:
- We may submit transaction records, order details, delivery timelines, and communication history as evidence in accordance with card network and payment provider rules.
- The related order may be suspended or canceled while the dispute is under review.
- If a chargeback is resolved in favor of the merchant, any associated fees, penalties, or losses may be the responsibility of the customer, where permitted by law.
- Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in refusal of future orders.
8. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update or modify this Payment Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published on the Strutt’s official website.
